इ॒मा अ॑स्मै म॒तयो॒ वाचो॑ अ॒स्मदाँ ऋचो॒ गिरः॑ सुष्टु॒तयः॒ सम॑ग्मत । व॒सू॒यवो॒ वस॑वे जा॒तवे॑दसे वृ॒द्धासु॑ चि॒द्वर्ध॑नो॒ यासु॑ चा॒कन॑त्
imā asmai matayo vāco asmadām̐ ṛco giraḥ suṣṭutayaḥ samagmata vasūyavo vasave jātavedase vṛddhāsu cidvardhano yāsu cākanat
These our thoughts, these words, our hymns and praises are for him. The possessors of wealth, born to Vasava, knower of the world, grown in wisdom and increase, he who stirs them —
May these laudatory words, these eulogistic verses, these voices (proceeding) from us, reach him thegiver of wealth, Jātavedas; these wealth- desiring (words) in which when they are perfected, the perfecterdelights.
From us these hymns in concert have gone forth to him, these. holy words, these Rcas, songs and eulogies, Eager for wealth, to Jatavedas fain for wealth: when they have waxen strong they please their Strengthener.
