The waters’ boundaries, the bow-bearing Thunderer, the singer of hymns, the bright one who desires complete growth — Soma made all the forests, the streams, and sent forth Indra’s glories among the peoples.
Appeasing wrath, striking quickly, intimidating foes, doer of great deeds, armed with weapons, possessing the stale residue, Soma nourishes all the Atasa woods, they oppose no impediments against Indra.
Rousing with draughts, the Shaker, rushing onward, impetuous, very strong, armed as with arrows Is Soma; forest trees and all the bushes deceive not Indra with their offered likeness.
