उ॒भोभ॑यावि॒न्नुप॑ धेहि॒ दंष्ट्रा॑ हिं॒स्रः शिशा॒नोऽव॑रं॒ परं॑ च । उ॒तान्तरि॑क्षे॒ परि॑ याहि राज॒ञ्जम्भैः॒ सं धे॑ह्य॒भि या॑तु॒धाना॑न्
ubhobhayāvinnupa dhehi daṃṣṭrā hiṃsraḥ śiśāno'varaṃ paraṃ ca utāntarikṣe pari yāhi rājañjambhaiḥ saṃ dhehyabhi yātudhānān
Bring both jaws forward; fierce-toothed, O youthful lord, be the bulwark above and below. Go forth around the sky, O king, with roaring drops, bring the sacrificial fuel hither.
Agni, the destroyer (of the rākṣasas), who have two (rows of teeth), sharpening them both, applythem to (the rākṣasas, and preserve) both the upper and the lower (world); and march, radiant (Agni, againstthe rākṣasas) in the firmament, seize the yātudhānas with your jaws.
Apply thy teeth, the upper and the lower, thou who hast both, enkindled and destroying. Roam also in the air, O King, around us, and with thy jaws assail the wicked spirits.
