nṛcakṣā rakṣaḥ pari paśya vikṣu tasya trīṇi prati śaṛṇīhyagrā tasyāgne pṛṣṭīrharasā śaṛṇīhi tredhā mūlaṃ yātudhānasya vṛśca
Look about, O Nṛcakṣa (king of eyes), and see the three foremost ranks of the foe. Agni, let your breast bring the troop to joy; let the threefold root of the hostile band be carried away.
Regard, beholder of men, the rākṣasas among the people; cut off his three heads; cut off his flankswith your might; cut off the triple foot of the Yātudhāna.
Look on the fiend mid men, as Man-beholder: rend thou his three extremities in pieces. Demolish with thy flame his ribs, O Agni, the Yatudhana's root destroy thou triply.
