किं सु॑बाहो स्वङ्गुरे॒ पृथु॑ष्टो॒ पृथु॑जाघने । किं शू॑रपत्नि न॒स्त्वम॒भ्य॑मीषि वृ॒षाक॑पिं॒ विश्व॑स्मा॒दिन्द्र॒ उत्त॑रः
kiṃ subāho svaṅgure pṛthuṣṭo pṛthujāghane kiṃ śūrapatni nastvamabhyamīṣi vṛṣākapiṃ viśvasmādindra uttaraḥ
What, O splendid-armed one, is your boast, famed in battles and slaying enemies? What bold wife do you not desire, O bull-roarer—hence Indra, the mighty, was invoked.
[Indra speaks]: You who have beautiful arms, who have beautiful fingers, long-haired, broad-hipped,why are you angry with our Vṛṣākapi, O you wife of a hero; Indra is above all (the world).
Dame with the lovely hands and arms, with broad hair-plaits add ample hips, Why, O thou Hero's wife, art thou angry with our Vrsakapi? Supreme is Indra over all.
