सु॒किं॒शु॒कं श॑ल्म॒लिं वि॒श्वरू॑पं॒ हिर॑ण्यवर्णं सु॒वृतं॑ सुच॒क्रम् । आ रो॑ह सूर्ये अ॒मृत॑स्य लो॒कं स्यो॒नं पत्ये॑ वह॒तुं कृ॑णुष्व
sukiṃśukaṃ śalmaliṃ viśvarūpaṃ hiraṇyavarṇaṃ suvṛtaṃ sucakram ā roha sūrye amṛtasya lokaṃ syonaṃ patye vahatuṃ kṛṇuṣva
Bring forth the pure, shining, world-formed, golden-hued, well-shaped disc. Ascend, O Sun, and carry the immortal world as offspring to your spouse, accomplish this.
Ascend, Sūrya, the chariot made of good kiṃśuka wood and of śalmali, multiform, decorated withgold, well-covered, well-wheeled, prepare the happy world of the immortals, your marriage procession to yourhusband.
Mount this, all-shaped, gold-hued, with strong wheels, fashioned of Kimsuka and Salmali, light-rolling, Bound for the world of life immortal, Surya: make for thy lord a happy bridal journey.
