अ॒भा॒गः सन्नप॒ परे॑तो अस्मि॒ तव॒ क्रत्वा॑ तवि॒षस्य॑ प्रचेतः । तं त्वा॑ मन्यो अक्र॒तुर्जि॑हीळा॒हं स्वा त॒नूर्ब॑ल॒देया॑य॒ मेहि॑
abhāgaḥ sannapa pareto asmi tava kratvā taviṣasya pracetaḥ taṃ tvā manyo akraturjihīḷāhaṃ svā tanūrbaladeyāya mehi
A portion is with the lord of sacrificial rites; I am offered away by your power, O Menyo, a votary for strength. I have staked my body as a vigorous gift—be gracious to me.
Sage Manyu, taking no part in the worship of you, the powerful one, I have retreated (from before myfoes); worshipping not, I was angry with you; (yet) being (incorporated with) my body, approach me to give mestrength.
I have departed, still without a portion, wise God! according to thy will, the Mighty. I, feeble man, was wroth thee, O Manyu I am myself; come thou to give me vigour.
