तमिद्गर्भं॑ प्रथ॒मं द॑ध्र॒ आपो॒ यत्र॑ दे॒वाः स॒मग॑च्छन्त॒ विश्वे॑ । अ॒जस्य॒ नाभा॒वध्येक॒मर्पि॑तं॒ यस्मि॒न्विश्वा॑नि॒ भुव॑नानि त॒स्थुः
tamidgarbhaṃ prathamaṃ dadhra āpo yatra devāḥ samagacchanta viśve ajasya nābhāvadhyekamarpitaṃ yasminviśvāni bhuvanāni tasthuḥ
Those waters first bore that womb where the gods together entered all the worlds. The one navel of the unborn was offered; in it all the worlds stood.
The waters verily first retained the embryo in which all the gods were aggregated, single deposited onthe navel of the unborn (creator), in which all beings abide.
The waters, they received that germ primeval wherein the Gods were gathefed all together. It rested set upon the Unborn's navel, that One wherein abide all things existing.
