अ॒स्य त्रि॒तः क्रतु॑ना व॒व्रे अ॒न्तरि॒च्छन्धी॒तिं पि॒तुरेवैः॒ पर॑स्य । स॒च॒स्यमा॑नः पि॒त्रोरु॒पस्थे॑ जा॒मि ब्रु॑वा॒ण आयु॑धानि वेति
asya tritaḥ kratunā vavre antaricchandhītiṃ piturevaiḥ parasya sacasyamānaḥ pitrorupasthe jāmi bruvāṇa āyudhāni veti
By his thrice-formed will he wrought and made the inward longing of the father; the faithful mind of sacrifice stood like the fathers—I proclaim the life-bearing weapons.
Trita by (his own), desiring a share (of the sacrifice), for the sake of taking part in the exploit of thesupreme protector (of the world), chose (Indra as his friend); attended (by the priests) in the proximity of theparental heaven and earth, and reciting appropriate praise, he takes up his weapons.
Through his wise insight Trita in the cavern, seeking as ever the Chief Sire's intention, Carefully tended in his Parents' bosom, calling the weapons kin, goes forth to combat.
