sukhaṃ rathaṃ yuyuje sindhuraśvinaṃ tena vājaṃ saniṣadasminnājau mahānhyasya mahimā panasyate'dabdhasya svayaśaso virapśinaḥ
The Sindhu yoked a pleasant chariot for the twin Asvins; with it she yoked the prize of steeds in the contest. Great was the glory of that depth of waters, the famed splendor of the broad flood.
Sindhu has harnessed his easy-going, well-horsed, chariot, with it may he bring (us) food; the might ofthis inviolable, great, renowned (chariot) at this sacrifice is praised as mighty.
Sindhu hath yoked her car, light-rolling, drawn by steeds, and with that car shall she win booty in this fight. So have I praised its power, mighty and unrestrained, of independent glory, roaring as it runs.
