This our heroic singer is the star of heaven; may he hear with mind and grant forgiveness. Where the gods, watchful for goodness, make the sky with their aids, they fashioned it with their own powers.
The animating invocation of these (Aṅgirasas) pervaded heaven; (the gods) with minds desirous offood kissed the earth; and there beholding (the lost cattle), the gods for their own benefit made (illumination) likethe sun by their glorious radiance.
Their call, the call of Gods, went up to heaven: they kissed the ground with glory-seeking spirit, There where the Gods look on for happy fortune, and like the kindly heavens bestow their bounties.
