सना॑माना चिद्ध्वसयो॒ न्य॑स्मा॒ अवा॑ह॒न्निन्द्र॑ उ॒षसो॒ यथानः॑ । ऋ॒ष्वैर॑गच्छः॒ सखि॑भि॒र्निका॑मैः सा॒कं प्र॑ति॒ष्ठा हृद्या॑ जघन्थ
sanāmānā ciddhvasayo nyasmā avāhannindra uṣaso yathānaḥ ṛṣvairagacchaḥ sakhibhirnikāmaiḥ sākaṃ pratiṣṭhā hṛdyā jaghantha
They set the seats of desires; Indra called them like dawn. The seers came with comrades’ longings; they placed the enthronement, beloved, within the heart.
You have expelled the two of the same name, you have destroyed the Vṛtra as (he destroyed) the cartof the dawn; you advance with the mighty friends (the Maruts), who were eager (to slay the Vṛtra); youdemolished his precious limbs.
Two of like name for him didst thou demolish, as Indra striking down the car of Usas. With thy beloved lofty Friends thou camest, and with the assurance of thine heart thou slewest.
