ऊ॒र्ध्वो ग्रावा॑ बृ॒हद॒ग्निः समि॑द्धः प्रि॒या धामा॒न्यदि॑तेरु॒पस्थे॑ । पु॒रोहि॑तावृत्विजा य॒ज्ञे अ॒स्मिन्वि॒दुष्ट॑रा॒ द्रवि॑ण॒मा य॑जेथाम्
ūrdhvo grāvā bṛhadagniḥ samiddhaḥ priyā dhāmānyaditerupasthe purohitāvṛtvijā yajñe asminviduṣṭarā draviṇamā yajethām
High, loud-roaring, Agni, kindled, beloved, present at the abodes of the dawning sun; priests and officiants, skilled in sacrificial rites, standing here in the yajña, bring wealth and offerings.
(When) the grinding-stone is uplifted, the mighty Agni kindled, the acceptable vessels (ready) on thelap of earth; (then), most learned priests, who take the foremost plural ce, bestow wealth upon us at this sacrifice.
Up stands the stone, high burns the fire enkindled: Aditi's lap contains the Friendly Natures Ye Two Chief Priests who serve at this our worship, may ye, more skilled, win for us rich possessions.
