सोषाम॑विन्द॒त्स स्व१॒ः॑ सो अ॒ग्निं सो अ॒र्केण॒ वि ब॑बाधे॒ तमां॑सि । बृह॒स्पति॒र्गोव॑पुषो व॒लस्य॒ निर्म॒ज्जानं॒ न पर्व॑णो जभार
soṣāmavindatsa sva1ḥ so agniṃ so arkeṇa vi babādhe tamāṃsi bṛhaspatirgovapuṣo valasya nirmajjānaṃ na parvaṇo jabhāra
They beheld the swift sun and Agni with the radiant eye; Brihaspati yoked the cattle to the cloud, casting them into the abyss, not by the mountain’s burden.
Bṛhaspati found the dawn, the sun, Agni; he dispersed the gloom with light; he seized (the cattle fromthe rock)) of Vala surrounded by the kine as (one extracts) marrow from a bone.
He found the light of heaven, and fire, and Morning: with lucid rays he forced apart the darkness. As from a joint, Brhaspati took the marrow of Vala as he gloried in his cattle.
