बृह॒स्पति॒रम॑त॒ हि त्यदा॑सां॒ नाम॑ स्व॒रीणां॒ सद॑ने॒ गुहा॒ यत् । आ॒ण्डेव॑ भि॒त्त्वा श॑कु॒नस्य॒ गर्भ॒मुदु॒स्रियाः॒ पर्व॑तस्य॒ त्मना॑जत्
bṛhaspatiramata hi tyadāsāṃ nāma svarīṇāṃ sadane guhā yat āṇḍeva bhittvā śakunasya garbhamudusriyāḥ parvatasya tmanājat
Brihaspati indeed said then that which is the cave-seat of the gods’ wives. He split the egg and opened the bird’s womb; the mountain gave birth by its own might.
When Bṛhaspati had discovered that name of the lowing kine in their plural ce in the cave, by his ownstrength he extricated the cattle from the rock as (breaking) the eggs of a bird (one extricates) the embryo.
That secret name borne by the lowing cattle within the cave Brhaspati discovered, And drave, himself, the bright kine from the mountain, like a bird's young after the egg's disclosure.
