भर्गो॑ ह॒ नामो॒त यस्य॑ दे॒वाः स्व१॒॑र्ण ये त्रि॑षध॒स्थे नि॑षे॒दुः । अ॒ग्निर्ह॒ नामो॒त जा॒तवे॑दाः श्रु॒धी नो॑ होतरृ॒तस्य॒ होता॒ध्रुक्
bhargo ha nāmota yasya devāḥ sva1rṇa ye triṣadhasthe niṣeduḥ agnirha nāmota jātavedāḥ śrudhī no hotarṛtasya hotādhruk
The name is Bhargo, by which the gods settled in the golden place where the threefold ones took their seat. Agni is the name given to the born-knower; hear our invoker who upholds the ritual.
Whether Bharga is the name of that radiance, on the triple seat of which those who are gods areseated, as if in heaven, or whether it be Agni, or Jātavedas; invoker (of the gods), who are the ministrant priestof the sacrifice, hear our guileless invocation.
Thou, called Effulgence, in whose threefold dwelling, as in the light of heaven, the Gods are sitting, Thou who art called Agni or Jatavedas, Priest, hear us, guileless Priest of holy worship.
