शं रोद॑सी सु॒बन्ध॑वे य॒ह्वी ऋ॒तस्य॑ मा॒तरा॑ । भर॑ता॒मप॒ यद्रपो॒ द्यौः पृ॑थिवि क्ष॒मा रपो॒ मो षु ते॒ किं च॒नाम॑मत्
śaṃ rodasī subandhave yahvī ṛtasya mātarā bharatāmapa yadrapo dyauḥ pṛthivi kṣamā rapo mo ṣu te kiṃ canāmamat
May the radiant dawn be the mother of order and the bond of truth. O brothers, what did the waters of heaven and earth and the streams bear to you in deed?
May the great heaven and earth, the parents of sacrifice, (grant) happiness to Subandhu; heaven andearth, remove all iniquity; let heaven (take away) iniquity; may no ill ever approach you.
May both Worlds bless Subandhu, young Mothers of everlasting Law. May Heaven and Earth uproot and sweep iniquity and shame away: nor sin nor sorrow trouble thee.
