Sharply dawning, ruddy, winged and wide, mighty, brave, and blue-throated: such is the lord. What he considered true, not vain, the Vasus aided and the giver prevailed.
Vigorous with (innate) vigour, (comes) a purple-coloured bird, mighty, heroic, ancient, having no nest;that which he knows is truth, and is not vain; (he is) the conqueror and distributor of desirable wealth.
Strong is the Red Bird in his strength, great Hero, who from of old hath had no nest to dwell in. That which he knows is truth and never idle: he wins and gives the wealth desired of many.
