You, Mighavan, make known that glory which, having honored greatness, should be invoked when afraid and weeping. Let it come forth to the gods, a hundredfold, O giver of offspring, as Indra instructed you.

(I celebrate), Maghavat, the great glory (you have acquired) by your might; when heaven and earthalarmed called upon you, you did defend the gods, and destroy (their) adversary; (I celebrate your glory), Indra,in that you gave strength to one person n (the worshipper).

I SING thy fame that, Maghavan, through thy Greatness the heavens and earth invoked thee in their terror, Thou, aiding Gods, didst quell the power of Dasas, what time thou holpest many a race, O Indra.
