के ते नर॑ इन्द्र॒ ये त॑ इ॒षे ये ते॑ सु॒म्नं स॑ध॒न्य१॒॑मिय॑क्षान् । के ते॒ वाजा॑यासु॒र्या॑य हिन्विरे॒ के अ॒प्सु स्वासू॒र्वरा॑सु॒ पौंस्ये॑
ke te nara indra ye ta iṣe ye te sumnaṃ sadhanya1miyakṣān ke te vājāyāsuryāya hinvire ke apsu svāsūrvarāsu pauṃsye
Who are those men, O Indra, whom you desire, whom you choose for the generous feast? Who among the cattle for strength, who in waters, air, or riches are most excellent?
What men, Indra, are they who (are eminent in offering food to you, who are desirous of obtaining fromthe happiness and opulence, who send you (oblations) for the sake of strength (to fight) the asura, who (sentoblations) for the sake of obtaining spontaneously-flowing waters and cultivable lands, and manly vigour?
Who are the men whom thou wilt further, Indra, who strive to win thy bliss allied with riches? Who urged thee forward to exert thy power divine, to valour, in the war for waters on their fields?
