ऋ॒ता॒यिनी॑ मा॒यिनी॒ सं द॑धाते मि॒त्वा शिशुं॑ जज्ञतुर्व॒र्धय॑न्ती । विश्व॑स्य॒ नाभिं॒ चर॑तो ध्रु॒वस्य॑ क॒वेश्चि॒त्तन्तुं॒ मन॑सा वि॒यन्तः॑
ṛtāyinī māyinī saṃ dadhāte mitvā śiśuṃ jajñaturvardhayantī viśvasya nābhiṃ carato dhruvasya kaveścittantuṃ manasā viyantaḥ
Give the law-bearing and the illusion-making one, mixing and bearing the child who grows. Let the lord of the world move about the navel of the firm, the poets weaving thoughts with mind.
The two observers of truth, the two possessors of wisdom, (heaven and earth) sustain (this Agni);measuring the time, they have brought forth and reared a son; and (men), pondering in their minds on that navelof the universe, movable and immovable, the thread of the sage (Agni, are blessed with happiness).
The Holy Pair, of wondrous power, have coupled: they formed the Infant, they who bred produced him. The central point of all that moves and moves not, the while they wove the Sage's thread with insight
