I am the vigor around the sun in the night watches, driving away evil; I am the strength borne by the morning chariots. May that Savah (Sāvā) for men bring the clarified butter, Riddhi‑Kṛṣa, having made a slave with rites.
Conveyed by the swift white horses of Sūrya, I hasten forth by my power; when the effused libation ofa man invokes me to the brilliant form of the sacrifice, I drive off with my weapons the destroyer who is to beslain.
I travel round about borne onward in my might by the fleet-footed dappled Horses of the Sun. When man's libation calls me to the robe of state I soon repel the powerful Dasyu with my blows.
