Then I held them when the gods did not hold; I fixed the foundations as Tvastr (the artisan) had fitted. I sought the cows’ milk with longing; Soma, granting strength, placed the head for the draught.
I have kept up in them that which no deity, not even Tvaṣṭā, has maintained, bright, desirable,(contained) in the udders of the cows; in the rivers (I uphold) the water up to the (source of the) water, thedelightful Soma and the milk and curds.
I set within these cows the white milk which no God, not even Tvastar's self, had there deposited,- Much-longed-for, in the breasts, the udders of the kine, the savoury sweets of meath, the milk and Soma juice.
