Give us the sevenfold nectar, deep wisdom, the great Brahmanaspati, and the mind that conquers—O Angiras, salutations; grant us abundant, diverse riches and wealth.
The praise (addressed to the gods) comes to the presence of Saptagu, the observer of the truth, theintelligent, the lord of much (praise), who, being of the family of Aṅgirasa, has approached (the gods) withoblations; do you, (Indra) grant me various fertilizing riches.
To Saptagu the sage, the holy-minded, to him, Brhaspati, the song approaches, Angiras' Son who must be met with homage: vouchsafe us mighty and reslendent riches.
