imaṃ trito bhūryavindadicchanvaibhūvaso mūrdhanyaghnyāyāḥ sa śevṛdho jāta ā harmyeṣu nābhiryuvā bhavati rocanasya
They desired this threefold, increasing strength, the exalted chiefs and priestly victors. The herd-born glory rose; from the navel the youthful splendour of the shining one came to be.
Trita, the son of Vibhuvas, searching (for him), found mighty Agni on the head of the cow; he theaugmenter of happiness manifested in the dwellings (of the pious), the youthful (connecting) bond of theresplendent (Sun).
On the Cow's forehead, with laborious searching, Trita, the offspring of Vibhiavas, found him. Born in our houses, Youthful, joy-bestower, he now becomes the central point of brightness.
