दृ॒शा॒नो रु॒क्म उ॑र्वि॒या व्य॑द्यौद्दु॒र्मर्ष॒मायुः॑ श्रि॒ये रु॑चा॒नः । अ॒ग्निर॒मृतो॑ अभव॒द्वयो॑भि॒र्यदे॑नं॒ द्यौर्ज॒नय॑त्सु॒रेताः॑
dṛśāno rukma urviyā vyadyauddurmarṣamāyuḥ śriye rucānaḥ agniramṛto abhavadvayobhiryadenaṃ dyaurjanayatsuretāḥ
With radiant sight and golden splendour, opposing harshness, life and glory and brilliance arose. Agni became immortal for both by that might; the gods gave birth to the offspring.
Conspicuous, glorious, Agni shines with great splendour, moving everywhere, and blazingunsurpassingly with glory; Agni became immortal through the food (of sacrifice) when the prolific heavenengendered him.
Like gold to look on, far he shone refulgent, beaming imperishable life for glory, Agni by vital powers became immortal when his prolific Father Dyaus begat him.
