Hear this our call in the sacrifice, O Ashvins; teach me, O sons, as fathers taught. In former times ignorance and misbirth afflicted that one; the kind ones pressed upon him and touched him.
I here, (ghoṣā), invoke you. Here my (invocation), Aśvins, give me (wealth) as parents give to a son;before (it come) beyond the reach of (a course) that has no relatives, ungrateful, without kinsfolk, without belief,(pursues me); save me from that curse before (it reaches me).
Listen to me, O Asvins; I have cried to you. Give me-your aid as sire and mother aid their son. Poor, without kin or friend or ties of blood am I. Save me before it be too late, from this my curse.
