You were as if newborn, you were youthful, O gods; you were destroyers of foes and liberators of waters. For the blind you opened sight, for the weak you gave strength—that is what the physicians and those learned declared.
You, Nāsatyās, are the good fortune of a damsel growing old in (her father's) mansion; thepreservers of the famishing, the protectors of the object, of the blind, of the feeble, they call you the physicians ofthe sacrifice.
Ye are the bliss of her who groweth old at home, and helpers of the slow although he linger last. Men call you too, Nasatyas, healers of the blind, the thin and feeble, and the man with broken bones.
