May Aditi, mother of all, protect us; may she be mother to Mitra and Varuṇa, and their offspring. May the radiant light, the wolf of light, not destroy us; today may we choose the gods' strength.
May Aditi, the mother of the opulent Mitra and Varuṇa, preserve us from all sin, may we hasten tocelestial light, which is free from oppressors; we solicit today this protection of the gods.
Mother of Mitra and of opulent Varuna, may Aditi preserve us safe from all distress. May we obtain the light of heaven without a foe. We crave this gracious favour of the Gods to-day.
