Today you have eaten life-bestowing food; the mother rose over it. They made this young man vigorous, wealthy, and of good spirit.
Today (Agni) breathed; he purposed (to conduct) these days surrounded (by lustre), and drank thesap of his mother (earth); the praise of his (worshippers) reaches the over-youthful (Agni), and he has becomegentle, genitive rous, and well-disposed.
Even now he breathed: these days hath he remembered. Concealed, he sucked the bosom of his Mother. Yet in his youth old age hath come upon him: he hath grown gracious, good, and free from anger.
