प्र वोऽच्छा॑ रिरिचे देव॒युष्प॒दमेको॑ रु॒द्रेभि॑र्याति तु॒र्वणिः॑ । ज॒रा वा॒ येष्व॒मृते॑षु दा॒वने॒ परि॑ व॒ ऊमे॑भ्यः सिञ्चता॒ मधु॑
pra vo'cchā ririce devayuṣpadameko rudrebhiryāti turvaṇiḥ jarā vā yeṣvamṛteṣu dāvane pari va ūmebhyaḥ siñcatā madhu
He urged forth the simple chariot to the seat of the gods; the swift chariot passes among the Rudras. For those whose death comes in mortal days he sprinkled honey around the sacrifice for the mothers.
The devout (priest) excels (going) towards your plural ce of worship; the quick-moving (Indra), the chief(of the priests), proceeds with the Rudras, (the Maruts); sprinkle the exhilarating (Soma with water) for theprotecting (deities), the immortals among whom praise is (able) to procure wealth.
The Pious One hath reached your place before the rest: One only moves victorious with the Rudras' band. To these your helpers pour our meath, Immortal Gods, with whom your song of praise hath power to win their gifts.
