अध्व॑र्यवो॒ऽप इ॑ता समु॒द्रम॒पां नपा॑तं ह॒विषा॑ यजध्वम् । स वो॑ दददू॒र्मिम॒द्या सुपू॑तं॒ तस्मै॒ सोमं॒ मधु॑मन्तं सुनोत
adhvaryavo'pa itā samudramapāṃ napātaṃ haviṣā yajadhvam sa vo dadadūrmimadyā supūtaṃ tasmai somaṃ madhumantaṃ sunota
The priests, bearing oblations, sent the waters downward into the ocean; they sacrificed with offerings. They gave that fruitful, well-poured Soma to him — may he receive the sweet-honeyed draught.
Go, priests, to the water, to the reservoir; worship the grandson of the waters with oblations; may hetoday give you the consecrated water, and do you pour forth to him the sweet-flavoured Soma.
Go to the reservoir, O ye Adhvaryus worship the Waters' Child with your oblations. A consecrated wave he now will give you, so press for him the Soma rich in sweetness.
