At that subtle day I saw the departing, the waning of the tired one; by the rising fires the foremost gods shine. By the streams the most divine is active; splendour goes forth, terror shines.
Of him, bright-blazing and hastening (towards the gods), the fierce- burning flames roar with the horses(of Maruts); who shines mighty in his course, most divine, with ancient, brilliant, and loud-sounding (flames).
His powers, whose chariot fellies gleam and glitter have loudly roared while, as with teams, he hasted. He, the most Godlike, far-extending envoy, shines with flames ancient, resonant, whitely-shining.
