Cows and barley followed, the noble ones looking on; they saw the companion-herdsmen binding together. The air of the neighbor came near, they offered gifts with song to the house-lord.
The assembled cattle feed upon the barley; I their master have beheld them grazing, tended by theherdsman; when called, they collect around their lord; when they approach, how much milk does he desire (totake)?
The freed kine eat the barley of the pious. 1 saw them as they wandered with the herdsman. The calling of the pious rang around them. What portion will these kine afford their owner?
