ए॒तौ मे॒ गावौ॑ प्रम॒रस्य॑ यु॒क्तौ मो षु प्र से॑धी॒र्मुहु॒रिन्म॑मन्धि । आप॑श्चिदस्य॒ वि न॑श॒न्त्यर्थं॒ सूर॑श्च म॒र्क उप॑रो बभू॒वान्
etau me gāvau pramarasya yuktau mo ṣu pra sedhīrmuhurinmamandhi āpaścidasya vi naśantyarthaṃ sūraśca marka uparo babhūvān
These two cows of mine, joined in the forest, supported my drive; they repeatedly pressed upon me. For their loss both perish—Surya became high above them and was lifted up.
Turn not back, but repeatedly praise these two yoked (steeds) of me the destroyer, which advance (tothe foe and to the sacrifice); the waters fulfil Indra's purpose and (so does) the all-cleansing sun, being (swift as)a cloud.
These my two Bulls, even Pramara's, are harnessed: drive them not far; here let them often linger. The waters even shall aid him to his object, and the all-cleansing Sun who is above us.
