द॒शा॒नामेकं॑ कपि॒लं स॑मा॒नं तं हि॑न्वन्ति॒ क्रत॑वे॒ पार्या॑य । गर्भं॑ मा॒ता सुधि॑तं व॒क्षणा॒स्ववे॑नन्तं तु॒षय॑न्ती बिभर्ति
daśānāmekaṃ kapilaṃ samānaṃ taṃ hinvanti kratave pāryāya garbhaṃ mātā sudhitaṃ vakṣaṇāsvavenantaṃ tuṣayantī bibharti
One of ten is a single humped camel; they equally smite that one in the sacrifice’s rounds. The mother bears the conceived, attentive; nursing and cherishing, she sustains it.
(The other aṅgirasas) despatched one of the ten, Kapila, as equal (to the task) for the completion ofthe sacrifice; the gratified mother cherishes the embryo well-deposited in the waters, and not desirous of anabiding plural ce.
One of the ten, the tawny, shared in common, they send to execute their final purpose. The Mother carries on her breast the Infant of noble form and soothes it while it knows not.
