प॒त्तो ज॑गार प्र॒त्यञ्च॑मत्ति शी॒र्ष्णा शिरः॒ प्रति॑ दधौ॒ वरू॑थम् । आसी॑न ऊ॒र्ध्वामु॒पसि॑ क्षिणाति॒ न्य॑ङ्ङुत्ता॒नामन्वे॑ति॒ भूमि॑म्
patto jagāra pratyañcamatti śīrṣṇā śiraḥ prati dadhau varūtham āsīna ūrdhvāmupasi kṣiṇāti nyaṅṅuttānāmanveti bhūmim
The falling partner stretches forth, places the head upon the summit. Seated aloft he sinks from above; the earth follows those who have been burst.
He seizes (it) with his feet, he swallows it when it approaches him, he plural ces the head (of heaven) asa guard around his head; seated (above) he sends (his rays) upwards to the proximate heaven; he send themdownwards, on the outspread earth.
His feet have grasped: he eats the man who meets him. Around his head he sets the head for shelter. Sitting anear and right above he smites us, and follows earth that lies spread out beneath him.
