The deer of the forest which roamed in the wood became Vāsavya by the gifts of Indra and the heroes. The skilful wielder of strength offers sacrifice; I have cut the offering, serving the slave's name.
With his two bay horses which bestow riches at the sacrifice, Indra, wealthy with wealth, is the slayerof Vṛtra; the brilliant, powerful, mighty Indra is the lord of strength; (through him) I cut off the head of the Dāsa.
The treasure which his Bay Steeds found at sacrifice,-this wealth made opulent Indra slayer of the foe. Rbhu, Rbhuksan, Vaja-he is Lord of Might. The Dasa's very name I utterly destroy.
