वि॒भ्राड्बृ॒हत्पि॑बतु सो॒म्यं मध्वायु॒र्दध॑द्य॒ज्ञप॑ता॒ववि॑ह्रुतम् । वात॑जूतो॒ यो अ॑भि॒रक्ष॑ति॒ त्मना॑ प्र॒जाः पु॑पोष पुरु॒धा वि रा॑जति
vibhrāḍbṛhatpibatu somyaṃ madhvāyurdadhadyajñapatāvavihrutam vātajūto yo abhirakṣati tmanā prajāḥ pupoṣa purudhā vi rājati
Let him drink the Soma, mighty and long; let the sweet life be set, praised by the sacrificer. He who guards the wind-born, protects with spirit; he nourishes the folk, he rules widely.
Let the radiant (Sūrya) drink much sweet Soma, bestowing unbroken life upon the lord of thesacrifice; (Sūrya), who impelled by the wind protects his people of his own accord, nourishes them and shinesin various plural ces.
MAY the Bright God drink glorious Soma-mingled meath, giving the sacrifice's lord uninjured life; He who, wind-urged, in person guards our offspring well, hath nourished them with food and shines o'er many a land.
