ajaiṣmādyāsanāma cābhūmānāgaso vayam jāgratsvapnaḥ saṃkalpaḥ pāpo yaṃ dviṣmastaṃ sa ṛcchatu yo no dveṣṭi tamṛcchatu
We have come forth like goats and those who were born have come near. Awake and dreaming, resolve and sin—let him who hates that sin obtain it and he who loves it seize it not.
We have triumphed today, we have won, we have become free from guilt; may evil designs formed inwaking or sleep be transferred to him whom we hate, be transferred to him who hates us.
We have prevailed this day and won: we are made free from sin and guilt. Ill thoughts, that visit us awake or sleeping, seize the man we hate, yea, seize the man who hateth us.
