agniṣvāttāḥ pitara eha gacchata sadaḥsadaḥ sadata supraṇītayaḥ attā havīṃṣi prayatāni barhiṣyathā rayiṃ sarvavīraṃ dadhātana
From the fires the fathers have come; go, O one who is both near and far, placed with good devotion. Go, you who bear the offerings, bring the sacrificial butter, and grant the sacred wealth and heroic gain.
Agniṣvātta Pitṛs, come to this solemnity; sit down, directors in the right way, in your appropriateplaces; eat the oblations spread on the grass, and grant us riches and male posterity.
Fathers whom Agni's flames have tasted, come ye nigh: ye kindly leaders, take ye each your proper place. Eat sacrificial food presented on the grass: grant riches with a multitude of hero sons.
