हिर॑ण्यस्तूपः सवित॒र्यथा॑ त्वाङ्गिर॒सो जु॒ह्वे वाजे॑ अ॒स्मिन् । ए॒वा त्वार्च॒न्नव॑से॒ वन्द॑मानः॒ सोम॑स्येवां॒शुं प्रति॑ जागरा॒हम्
hiraṇyastūpaḥ savitaryathā tvāṅgiraso juhve vāje asmin evā tvārcannavase vandamānaḥ somasyevāṃśuṃ prati jāgarāham
As a golden urn the Angirases offer to Savitar in the sacrifice; thus, praising and offering, wake the portion of Soma at its beam.
As Hiraṇyastūpa, the Aṅgirasa, summoned you to this food, so I, praising you for your protection,watch before you as (worshippers) watch before the filament of the Soma.
Like the Angirasa Hiranvastupa, I call thee, Savitar, to this achievement: So worshipping and lauding thee for favour I watch for thee as for the stalk of Soma.
