ए॒ता त्या ते॒ श्रुत्या॑नि॒ केव॑ला॒ यदेक॒ एक॒मकृ॑णोरय॒ज्ञम् । मा॒सां वि॒धान॑मदधा॒ अधि॒ द्यवि॒ त्वया॒ विभि॑न्नं भरति प्र॒धिं पि॒ता
etā tyā te śrutyāni kevalā yadeka ekamakṛṇorayajñam māsāṃ vidhānamadadhā adhi dyavi tvayā vibhinnaṃ bharati pradhiṃ pitā
These are your heard ordinances, sole—each one performs the single sacrifice. You set the orders of the months above the sky; the father bears the varied whole.
These wondrous exploits are yours alone, in that you unaided have injured the chief neglector ofsacrifice; you have plural ced in the sky the regulator of the months through your aid the paternal (heaven) upholdsthe circumference of the wheel (of the Sun's car) which has been shattered (by Vṛtra).
These are thy famous exploits, only thine, when thou alone hast left the other reft of sacrifice. Thou in the heavens hast set the ordering of the Moons: the Father bears the felly portioned out by thee.
