He made firm what was unseen and outspread; he placed them in the wealth of gods, undying in deed. Do not, sun of the month, give wealth to the hostile who hear of ruin.
Bold (Indra) has annihilated the (hitherto) unbaffled (hosts of the asura), the objects of Ayasya'sadoration has despoiled the impious of their treasures; the sun as if with the (aid of the) moon has seized uponthe wealth of the cities (of the asuras), glorified (by his worshippers), he has demolished the foe with his blazing(thunderbolt).
He boldly cast down forts which none had e'er assailed: unwearied he destroycd the godless treasure-stores. Like Sun and Moon he took the stronghold's wealth away, and, praised in song, demolished foes with flashing dart.
