ममा॑ग्ने॒ वर्चो॑ विह॒वेष्व॑स्तु व॒यं त्वेन्धा॑नास्त॒न्वं॑ पुषेम । मह्यं॑ नमन्तां प्र॒दिश॒श्चत॑स्र॒स्त्वयाध्य॑क्षेण॒ पृत॑ना जयेम
mamāgne varco vihaveṣvastu vayaṃ tvendhānāstanvaṃ puṣema mahyaṃ namantāṃ pradiśaścatasrastvayādhyakṣeṇa pṛtanā jayema
O Agni, may thy splendour be with offerings; we, thy worshippers, may we be guarded by thee. May foursquare regions salute me and through thy oversight I prevail.
May glory Agni, be mine in battle, may we, kindling you, cherish your person n, may the (inhabitants ofthe) four quarters bow down before me, may we with you for our leader overcome (hostile) armies.
LET me win glory, Agni, in our battles: enkindling thee, may we support our bodies. May the four regions bend and bow before me: with thee for guardian may we win in combat.
