Not you, O Vasishtha, do I invoke weakly; praising the potent, Agni, you are known in rites and observations. Bear the sustenance of the realm in the offerings; protect us ever with blessings.

The pious Vasiṣṭha invoked you, Agni, at the sacrificial meetings, praising you, the mighty one;continue the sustenance of riches among the instrumental tutors of the rite, and do you (gods) ever cherish us withblessings.

Arrangers in our synods, Agni, while they sang Vasisistha s sons have called thee down, the Potent One. Maintain the growth of wealth with men who sacrifice. Ye Gods, preserve us with your blessings evermore.
