मा नो॑ हिंसीज्जनि॒ता यः पृ॑थि॒व्या यो वा॒ दिवं॑ स॒त्यध॑र्मा ज॒जान॑ । यश्चा॒पश्च॒न्द्रा बृ॑ह॒तीर्ज॒जान॒ कस्मै॑ दे॒वाय॑ ह॒विषा॑ विधेम
mā no hiṃsījjanitā yaḥ pṛthivyā yo vā divaṃ satyadharmā jajāna yaścāpaścandrā bṛhatīrjajāna kasmai devāya haviṣā vidhema
May not the begetter harm the born, whether of earth or of heaven, of truth or of law. Those whom the shining Moon made great, whom the waters expand — to which god shall we offer the oblation?
May he do us no harm who is the parent of the earth, or who the unerring support (of the world) begatthe heaven, and who genitive rated the vast and delightful waters -- let us offer worship with an oblation to the divineKa.
Neer may he harm us who is earth's Begetter, nor he whose laws are sure, the heavens' Creator, He who brought forth the great and lucid waters. What God shall we adore with our oblation?
