To whom shall we offer oblations — to the self, to the mighty one whose power the world venerates, to him whom the gods honor, whose shadow is immortality and whose death is unknown?
(To him) who is the giver of soul, the giver of strength, whose commands all (beings), even the godsobey, whose shadow is immortality, whose (shadow) is death-- let us offer worship with an oblation to the divineKa.
Giver of vital breath, of power and vigour, he whose commandments all the Gods acknowledge -. The Lord of death, whose shade is life immortal. What God shall we adore with our oblation?
