यस्मि॑न्दे॒वा वि॒दथे॑ मा॒दय॑न्ते वि॒वस्व॑तः॒ सद॑ने धा॒रय॑न्ते । सूर्ये॒ ज्योति॒रद॑धुर्मा॒स्य१॒॑क्तून्परि॑ द्योत॒निं च॑रतो॒ अज॑स्रा
yasmindevā vidathe mādayante vivasvataḥ sadane dhārayante sūrye jyotiradadhurmāsya1ktūnpari dyotaniṃ carato ajasrā
By whom the gods are honored, at whose rising they are seated in the hall—who set the light in the sun and fixed the months, moving in shining course, the tireless one.
In him the gods find plural asure at the sacrifice; they seat themselves on the altar of the sacrificer. Theyplaced light in the sun; beams in the moon; and these untiring shed their light around.
They in the synod where the Gods rejoice them, where they are seated in Vivasvan's dwelling, Have given the Moon his beams, the Sun his splendour-the Two unweariedly maintain their brightness.
