वा॒जिन्त॑माय॒ सह्य॑से सुपित्र्य तृ॒षु च्यवा॑नो॒ अनु॑ जा॒तवे॑दसे । अ॒नु॒द्रे चि॒द्यो धृ॑ष॒ता वरं॑ स॒ते म॒हिन्त॑माय॒ धन्व॒नेद॑विष्य॒ते
vājintamāya sahyase supitrya tṛṣu cyavāno anu jātavedase anudre cidyo dhṛṣatā varaṃ sate mahintamāya dhanvanedaviṣyate
They chose the prosperous, upheld by kinship, offspring of Chyavana born in the triple fires. They keep the offering lit, the vigorous vow upheld; for the great they prepare the bow for the fight.
O Agni, who has fair ancestors, (I have) arrived quickly to (praise) you, the most bountiful bestower offood, the overcomer (of foes), the Jātavedas, (I who offer) the best to you, the most mighty being, the protectorin calamity, with your capable (bow).
Do thou, Supitrya, swiftly following, make thyself the lord of Jatavedas, mightiest of all, Who surely gives a boon even in thirsty land most powerful, prepared to aid us in the wilds.
